Wonderful photo – I love it π
Thanks, Gordon. This leaf was right in the middle of the trail, apparently floating. It was so cool.

Gordon? Alastair π
Whoops, sorry. Wrong blogger. π€π€π€. I really do know who you are.
No worries. We all do it lol π
Wow! What a nice capture. Beautiful. You were just in time.
Best of all, I didn’t disturb the thread holding it, so it was still there after I passed π
Lovely.
Sweet and tranquilizing.
Thanks, Sally. These sorts of leaves always appear to be suspended by magic instead of a spider web thread, making them so much fun to see.
Suspended by an invisible thread, or hoovering of its own accord? Push or pull? There’s a lot of potential power attached to that little leaf. π
The invisible thread is the answer here, Hannah, although it certainly danced in the wind. I was very happy to get such a good shot.
Wonderful image Janet.
Thanks, Su. I always love the way these leaves apparently are floating on their own. π
Great pic. I always canβt get the leaf in good focus when I try to photograph these.
Here they tend to blow around too much, but I finally got a good shot of one. π
Beautiful photo. Strong web, but not what spider was hoping for
No, not a very appetizing meal for him/her. But fun for me!
