Oh, the light (and you of course) has captured us a great little image here – so much detail.
And yes, the framing works well. I don’t do it often either, but sometimes it is needed to stop it just fading into the white page.
Milkweed seeds are so airy and delicate that I find them fascinating. As for framing, it can depend on the WP theme/background as well as mood of the photographer.

Very nice! Love the way you framed this.
I know not everyone likes framing, but sometimes I think it emphasizes the photo better. A blessed Sunday to you, Madison.

I almost always think framing is a good thing. I’m trying to think of an instance where maybe it isn’t, and can’t! Blessed day to you too 🙂
On my wall
Milkweed seeds or a photo of them? 🙂

That’s so pretty. Great capture
Thanks, Dan. There’s something so ethereal about milkweed seeds that causes me to take lots of photos of them.
I keep trying but I only seem to find them on windy days
If they’re stuck on something, a windy day is fine. Otherwise… 💨
Light as a feather!
And look very similar. 🥰
Just beautiful. Well done.
Thanks very much, Sandra. Hello to both of you from both of us. 🥰

Those wisps look so soft, and like my hair on a bad hair day.
Ha! 🙂 They’re definitely soft.
😜
Lovely photo.
Thanks!
