Friday flowers and…

Sometimes it’s not all about the flower. Happy Friday!

Hmmm. Hold that “Happy Friday” thought until tomorrow or…let’s pretend I’m posting from New Zealand, where it actually IS Friday. I wish WP would go back to having the calendar highlight every day you already have a post scheduled. That’s almost caught me any number of times. At any rate, enjoy the photo whether or not it’s Friday. 🙂

  1. Gorgeous shot. It was an amazing year for butterflies. That publish button is easy to push. 🙂

    • Yes, I’m just seeing that I scheduled it incorrectly. Sigh. Used to be that when you went to schedule a post, it showed you all the days you already had a post scheduled. Now it doesn’t do that and they also changed the calendar to look like the European calendar starting on Monday rather than starting on Sunday the way ours does. Grrrrr. Glad you like the photo, though, and yes it was a good year for butterflies.

Happy Friday FROM New Zealand. Lovely image for it.

  3. I opened this photo while out in public, and quite inadvertently, gasped aloud. It is so stunningly beautiful, I couldn’t help myself, but everyone around me probably thinks someone just died. Anyhow… This deserved to be printed out HUGE and framed, a hundred times over.

Whatever day it is, Janet, this is a super photo.

It’s almost 4am on Friday 15/11/2019 as I’m reading this in Pretoria, South Africa, Janet, and thanking you for a beautiful start to the day!

    • See! It’s Friday somewhere. 🙂 I’m so happy to start your day out well. I thought of all of you a few days ago when my husband and I watched “Holiday in the Wild” ( which takes place in Africa. It’s a feel-good movie, but if you read about how carefully it was filmed, you’ll appreciate it as we did.

Thanks for the link, Janet – it seems to be a movie we shouldn’t miss! Also nice to see that, although set in Zambia, a lot of the filming actually took place in South Africa and there’s quite a number of South African actors on the cast! Go SA!

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
