He was in the completely bare backyard of one of the homes I looked at while in Arizona. Must be the family pet. He was quite an unexpected find!

I have got tortoises in my garden
This one was enormous and in the backyard of a rental house that I saw. Quite the surprise!
It looks quite big!

Tortoises live a long time, hares rush about and have relatively short lifespans.. maybe we can learn something from the tortoise…

In a backyard. We all had to take photos. It’s all about the six words on Saturday, but of course six on a photo. 😊. It’s always fun trying to get both a good photo and good words to go with it.

My mother gets them in Florida. They just wander through. I always enjoy them 😀
This one was an actual pet, as the backyard was enclosed. (Unless it could pole vault, but I have my doubts about that.)
