for One Word Sunday
Certain fungi do ‘overlap’ very well!
And we saw lots of them in France this fall!
Ah, walks in the woods??
Multiple walks with the dogs every day. 😉
Aha!
French shrooms… nice layers
Unfortunately these aren’t edible. 😢
It is so amazing how some are edible and tasty – some are medicinal – and some not edible and maybe toxic!
Some are terribly toxic and this is one of them. 🙂 But we did find some cèpes/porcini and they were delicious!!
Mmmm – those type of crepes sound delish
Not crepes, Yvette, cepes or porcini mushrooms. Did I mis-type that? Better check.
I might have added the r in my mind – I could see thin crepes with some porcini shrooms and a sauce – lol
You definitely added it, but I can understand! 😉
Did you know that is how some “online hacks” happen? People use a fake name that looks like a legitimate business – like bank of “arnerica” see the a – r – n ? Looks like America
And you’ve created a fake crepe. 🤭😬😄
Haha
Great overlap
Thanks, Beth, and happy Sunday.
Ahhh, great take!
Good morning, Jackie. I’m glad you liked the ‘shrooms. 🥰
Very pretty, Janet. Nice response to the prompt.
Thanks very much, Dan. Enjoy your Sunday.
Perfect for this theme Janet. Wishing you a good week ahead.
Thanks, Su, and to you also.
Overlapped beautifully. Love this capture, Janet!
Many thanks, Amy. Hope you’re having a good weekend.
Wonderful word to highlight this exquisite scene, Janet.
Thanks, Jet. Debbie gives us a word and it’s up to us to find something to go with it. I try to find something a bit different if possible. 😊
Clever interpretation, Janet. 😃
Thanks, Sylvia. 🥰
Wonderful capture, Janet
Thanks, Hammad. Good to hear from you. I hope all’s well with you and yours.
All’s going well on my side, Janet. Wishing you a lovely week 🙂
That’s a great variety of wild fungi. Was anybody home or did all the fairies run when they heard you coming with your camera?
I think they were hiding underneath. I caught just a few flashes of them, but they’re quite shy.
😉
great take.
Vielen dank!
janet
There isn’t mushroom for anything else 😀
Ha! Good one.
Beautiful overlap, Janet. You have caught the texture of the tops and the frilly edges very well. I really must go on a fungus hunt with my camera.
Thanks, Debbie. With all the rain we had while I was in France, the mushrooms began to thrive, so I got lots of mushrooms photos.
One of the upsides of rain 🙂
