I tend to be up before the sun, literally, but sometimes I’m around when the sun sets. On Christmas Day, I needed a bit of time away and walked around the little lake near our house. This was the view that greeted me, perhaps photos I should have used for my December 31st post.

Earth magic – can’t be beaten. Happy 2020, Janet.

  3. Spectacular photo, Jan. Looks like you’ll need a flashlight to get home if you were out and about at that time, though!

    • In the city there are plenty of lights after dark, not like in Wyoming, where it’s pitch black…or on the highway going through Minnesota where we had a flat one night some years ago. 🙂

These are beautiful, Janet. I love seeing the sun rise or set over the water.

Lovely! Last Christmas getting to you? Sending hugs 🙂 🙂

    • No, Christmas was wonderful. Just having the house full of people makes me not exactly stressed but just wanting a few minutes alone. This was just what I needed.

I meant because it was the last in this home, but I always enjoy a bit of time to myself 🙂 🙂

      • I don’t think it being the last Christmas in this house bothers me. I’ll miss the area and most of all, the good friends we’ve made here. Christmas is portable, although I will miss the possibility of snow. I told my husband I may have to drive north to Flagstaff, Arizona during the Christmas season, as they’re much higher and also have skiing there, so I could get my snow fix with a visit. 🙂

    • Thanks for the hugs, though. They’re always appreciated!
