Hurrah! I’ve made it to Philadelphia and back home, dropping of an entire van-load of things for our younger daughter, her last things from our house. One van-load less to move. Now back to the basement: sorting, packing, divesting of “stuff”, etc. Meanwhile, it’s Wednesday. Wake up and enjoy the day!

Ha, I know that feeling when your children grow up and leave home, but many of their belongings are left behind with a promise that some day they will follow them on 😃
One daughter got rid of or took almost everything; the other still had quite a bit left.
Not a bad way to greet the day at all!
Welcome back, Janet.
Thanks! 😘
That’s a big bright morning. What are the chances your continued sorting will fill another van?
It was a very bright, beautiful morning. As for the van, all her things are out now, unless I find a few odds and ends. All van-loads now will be going to AZ. 🙂
Onward and upward! Welcome back, and congrats on crossing one more thing off your list. Lots of good things to wake up to. 🙂
Thanks. It’s a big list, but things are getting crossed of bit by bit.
One at a time; that’s the only way to do it!
Well done, Janet. Your daughter must have been thrilled to see you and all her stuff too. Gorgeous photo and thanks for reminding me what day it is. I just posted a Floral Friday. 😳
We had a good time as always and she was going through all her things to winnow down some more. Glad you enjoyed the photo and glad to know I’m not the only one who gets my days mixed up sometimes. LOL.
🤣😂
I see what you mean…and this was a glorious day!
It truly was.
It’s a bit late (4:15) pm, so let me wish you a fabulous Thursday.
I never had kids, so I’m at a loss about them leaving home. Seems like a double edged sword or 2 sides of a coin.
We raise them to go out on their own and really don’t want them to live with us forever, so it’s good. 😉 Nice to visit them and for them to visit us.
That sounds healthy!
Moving requires good organizational skills, the ability to let go of ‘stuff,’ and hard work. I know you’re up to the job. 🙂
Yes, but it’s still hard. 😉
I’m starting to think that moving house may be the only way I’ll get rid of some stuff the boy-child left behind
🙂 That’s certainly not why we’re moving, but it does work. I’m also getting rid of things of mine as well, not as many as I’d like (the book thing), but a great improvement.
Gorgeous!
Thanks, Joey. It was a glorious morning.
