Capital: first-rate; excellent

A capital couple from a walk last year. I rounded the corner, surprising both mother and baby but by not moving, I managed to observe them for a bit and yes, get some photos.

Capital captures, Janet – in beautiful light and beautiful expressions!

  6. Resa says:

You might miss sights like this when you move, but you will find all new things! It will be exciting!

    • It will be, Resa. If just the actual move were over or all our things could be magically transported from this house to the one I’ll find in March. 🙂 There are all sorts of wonderful places to visit there. I just hope to find a good place to walk that isn’t just around houses.

  7. Tina Schell says:

I know people who despise them because they eat plants. Hard to imagine when they are so sweet and so beautiful. Your images are beautiful Janet

    • They can be a problem, decimating a garden or, in our case in Cleveland, eating off all the day lily flowers on one night. But they are also beautiful. I like them in the park, a more natural place for them.

  8. JohnRH says:

    Gorgeous, endearing, great shots.

  9. Amy says:

    Capital couple, indeed! Love it!

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
