    Love that last one!

The first one is amazing. I love the silver and gold effect and the sinuous lines.

  3. Debbie Smyth says:

Great captures of a natural beauty, Janet. I love them all! But the first is particularly fascinating with its gentle lines

    • It’s hard for me to decide which I like best. Just depends on the moment. Hence, as I mentioned to Sue, my decision to include them all. And that was after having to pick from all the shots I took. 🤭😊

  4. I know I repeat myself, but ice does make some of the most gorgeous winter photography especially when there is a skilled photographer like yourself around. Happy Sunday.

    • Thanks, Judy, and happy Sunday to you as well. I don’t mind you repeating yourself because I feel that way about seeing ice every time…I love it! Unless I have to drive on it, of course. 😖

I look forward to what you replace the ice shots with next winter. I just know you are going to find beauty in a different aspect of nature!

Beautiful! Love the abstract nature of the first and third photos.

  12. […] chilly substance this year, so the beautiful images have been most welcome. Special thanks go to Janet for giving us fascinating detail; to Jez for some great sparkles; and to Elke for a very tasty take […]

These are quite beautiful. I thought the third one was frosted flowers at first. I wish we’d had a spot of ice this winter in England.
