It’s hard for me to decide which I like best. Just depends on the moment. Hence, as I mentioned to Sue, my decision to include them all. And that was after having to pick from all the shots I took. 🤭😊
I know I repeat myself, but ice does make some of the most gorgeous winter photography especially when there is a skilled photographer like yourself around. Happy Sunday.
Thanks, Judy, and happy Sunday to you as well. I don’t mind you repeating yourself because I feel that way about seeing ice every time…I love it! Unless I have to drive on it, of course. 😖
Thanks, Amy. I went back-and-forth about which ones to choose and finally whittled it down to these three. It’s curves vs straight lines, I guess, when choosing a favorite. 😉
[…] chilly substance this year, so the beautiful images have been most welcome. Special thanks go to Janet for giving us fascinating detail; to Jez for some great sparkles; and to Elke for a very tasty take […]
Same here! No ice, just a couple of days some hoarfrost but nothing to get excited about.
I love all three photos, Sue. The colour combination works wonderfully, making it almost silver and gold. And the structure is so different in every shot.
Love that last one!
Thanks, Sue. I go back and forth about which one I like best…which is why I included all three out of the shots I took. 😉
Ah, I know what you mean!
The first one is amazing. I love the silver and gold effect and the sinuous lines.
Thanks, Susan, and happy Sunday.

Great captures of a natural beauty, Janet. I love them all! But the first is particularly fascinating with its gentle lines

Amazing!!!
If winter weren’t so beautiful, people wouldn’t enjoy it so much. Many don’t anyway, of course, but I do. 🥰
I would love to see it! I have never seen any snow up close 🤔
😦 You poor thing! You’ve missed a lot, as far as I’m concerned.
I know! 😞😊
Stunning! Love the last one especially, Janet!

Like a beautiful abstract painting. 🙂
Yes. 😘
These are gorgeous!
Thanks, Jackie. Winter can really knock your socks off with its beauty (although hopefully not literally or your feet would freeze.) 🙂

These are gorgeous Janet. Very painterly.
Thank you kindly, ma’am. 🙂
One word comment – WOW!
One word response – thanks!! 🙂
Gorgeous!
I look forward to what you replace the ice shots with next winter. I just know you are going to find beauty in a different aspect of nature!
I will but I may also travel to parts of Arizona that have snow and ice to get my winter fix. 😁
Lol! 😀
I’m serious. 😊
I believe you! Just don’t wear new sneakers!
Ha! I’d never do that. I know better. 🥰❄️
….. unlike some others…..
😂😂😂
❤
Great captures of a natural beauty, Janet.
Thanks very much. I appreciate the visit and the comment.
Beautiful! Love the abstract nature of the first and third photos.
Thanks, Lignum. There were many beautiful patterns that day.
❤ ❤ ❤
And ❤ back at you, Marian. It's all puddles and mud now, but I caught it for eternity. 🙂

These are quite beautiful. I thought the third one was frosted flowers at first. I wish we’d had a spot of ice this winter in England.

Thanks. I love them all, too, that’s why I couldn’t choose just one. 😊

Thanks, Margaret. There were so many various shapes and all of them beautiful.
