No, don’t turn your head, monitor, or other viewing device. This really is what I saw it during the last big snow not too many days ago. Can’t see the forest for the trees.

What a cool shot!
Cool in all ways, Amy. π. Thanks.
It’s pretty though!
All part of a beautiful day, Deborah. Virtually no snow now and sunshine, which means itβs cold. π±
Bundle up! βπ
Always. But next week I might be where it’s 80, so that will be a switch!
Oh! Pack a bathing suit. ππ©±π‘β±
Yeah, I don’t think so. π I’ll be busy with more mundane things.
I like the movement and the color. It’s as if the wind had blown all the branches in one direction.
Exactly and across the woods, rather than up and down. That’s what I thought was fun, too.

Gorgeous image, Janet. I wouldn’t be able to find my way out. π―
Just stay on the path, following the breadcrumbs. π If there had been breadcrumbs, I’m pretty sure the birds would have taken care of them fairly quickly.
π
Just to clarify things for everyone, I was walking on the path looking into the woods, not walking through the woods, at least then.
Okay, that doesn’t sound so scary. π
π But I have gone through the forest area on days like this. I love it. π
Well, you’ve probably got a much better sense of direction than I have. π
I do have a pretty good one. My husband on the other hand… A GPS was the best and most useful gift I ever got him. π
Your husband sounds like me and mine sounds like you. π
π
Brrr. Looks like a Jackson Pollack painting! We had been having beautiful weather but the temps are dropping fast.
It certainly does look impenetrable and foreboding, Janet.
If years of reading fairy tales has taught me anything it would be not to venture any further; there might be a beautiful princess held captive beyond, but to get to her there’s bound to be all manner of wolves, trolls, witches and what-nots guarding the path to her, and if you succeed in getting to her she’s likely to be a bit stuck-up…
Oooooo, youβre right about that. Iβm lucky to have escaped alive! The what-nots are especially dangerous.
They are. No one even knows what they look like, because no one who’s ever seen a what-not came back to tell us about it…
Thatβs a what-ever! ππ€
Oh yes! My bad. π€π
Great photo, but I’m not sure I’d want to be surrounded by that.
It wasn’t as dense as the photo makes it look, but it was all stunningly gorgeous. You would have loved it.
I wonβt turn my head, etc. I’m down with that! π
You’re at least used to the cold, so you would have enjoyed the beauty. But this way you can enjoy it without the cold and today it’s a balmy 57F!! Of course all this lovely snow is long gone. π¦
You are one of the few I know who loves snow. The only others are friends who ski.
I used to ski, but haven’t for some years. But I do love snow, at least so long as it doesn’t cause accidents and the like.
π Great picture, dear Janet!
Big hug xo π
Thanks, Claudia, and big hugs back to you! π
