Long day (yesterday) but the most downtime for a long time while someone else works. ๐Ÿ˜

Great moving crew

Van finally loaded and weโ€™re off to overnight with friends.

Lovely dinner and friend time!

Cleaning up tomorrow and and heading for Arizona.

Bedtime

The adventure begins.

P. S. Anyone else getting forever-dry, cracked hands from all the hand-washing??

Hi Janet. Are you not on lockdown? In a few days we’ll be entering our third week here in Italy. No sign of it ending yet. Stay safe!

    • Weโ€™re in whatโ€™s called shelter in place. We are encouraged to stay home except for essential things, but travel is included as one of these. Italy has been hit really hard. Glad to know youโ€™re safe and praying that an end comes soon.

  3. Hi Janet,

Safe travels. Or as they say in the Navy, “Fair winds and following seas.” Gold Bond with aloe works wonders.

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

  4. Happy trails! Yes, I have hand sanitizer and soap, but I’m low on lotion.

Good luck Janet! I bet you are so excited to get to the sunshine! ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Dan Antion says:

Good luck with the move/ride/next chapter.

The hand washing is forcing me to use hand cream (which is absolutely hate using).

  7. So much hand washing! ๐Ÿ˜… I drink quite a lot of water which I think helps with the dryness. Only use hand cream at night. Happy moving and good luck, Janet. ๐Ÿ˜˜

๐Ÿ™‚ Have a safe journey to Arizona, dear Janet!
And yes, my hands are dryyyyyyyy! My skin looks like an old shriveled apple or something like that, although I try to use lots of lotion. Oh, well, I guess that’s just the way the cookie crumbles.
    Take care and stay healthy!
    Big hug xo

  9. Travel well, Lady. And rest up as much as possible for the next stage – Unpacking!! And figuring out where everything goes. But you will prevail. Looking forward to stories and photos of your new home. J.

  10. Me too with the drier hands! I am motioning several times a day now too.

Safe journey to your new home!!

  11. Well, our lockdown seem to be not as severe yet as NYC according to athingirl.com
The way to avoid the cracked drying hands is to stay in the house and not see anyone. It’s worked for me. No need to wash hands if you aren’t out using them.

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
