Beautiful and very interesting. I think your change of scenery is going to provide a nice learning experience for some of us.
For me as well! π₯°
Great shot. Kind of looks like something from the deep blue sea, but if you say it’s a cactus I believe you.
It does look like some sort of alien environment, which is what fascinated me as well.
I love the detail!!
Thanks, Aletta.
It undoubtedly lures you deeper and deeper!
The flowers only lasted a few days, but I was constantly fascinated by them. The ones at my parents’ house were even bigger than ours–about 8-9″ across!
:-O Wow!
Thanks for taking us inside this wonderful world, Janet.
You’re welcome, Jet. I love the other-worldly feel of it.
Beautiful deep and details!
Thanks, Amy. π
Beautiful photo Janet π
Many thanks, Cee.
That’s really cool!
I thought so, too, Deborah. It seems so alien, but attractive.
Love this!
Thanks, Janet!
It’s like a whole world at the heart of that flower. Love seeing all that lush detail and texture.
Thatβs exactly what itβs like, Hannah.
That’s a great photo. I love the detail, and knowing it’s all part of a design for survival.
Glad you enjoyed it, too, Dan. π
So lovely, Janet. π
Thanks, Sylvia. π₯°
