Oh, bless! That’s just a bit too detailed for me, Janet 🙂 🙂 Happy weekend!
That bee was buzzing all around in the flower, hanging on the stamens or pistils or whatever and having what our daughters used to call an ecstasy spasm. 🙂
🙂 🙂
Just look at him covered in pollen, and seemingly having lots of fun – that’s how I will look if I ever get to see snow again!
I hear you on the snow. I’ll be the same way come winter and may drive up to Flagstaff, Arizona (in the mountains) to get a snow fix, something many people do NOT understand. 🙂 As for the bee…it was having its best day ever!! So was I just seeing it.
Absolutely stunning!!
Thanks, Aletta. I was thrilled to see how well it came out.
Well done Janet!
Amazing photo, Janet.
I have a couple videos, too, and I’m sure one of them will make it on the blog next week. 🙂
That’s a lovely image, Janet. I see why you saved it got today.
Thanks, Dan. I’m very happy with it. 🙂
Wow. What a bee-autiful photo. Coolness.
A honey of a comment, Ally. 🙂

Looks like he has curled up and gone to sleep in bliss
He was actually writhing with joy in the pollen. It was both hilarious and amazing.
having the time of his life playing in the pollen!
He was in bee heaven!
It sure looks like it!
I hope his heart can withstand that much bliss, but what a way for a bee to go if not! What a great shot, Janet.
He couldn’t have been any happier. There were a number of these giant flowers and he was going from one to the next hugging the stamens/pistils and rolling in pollen. It was a truly marvelous sight.
Great shot of a happy bee! I adore bees. We can’t live without them! ❦🐝
I’m not sure what sort of bee this is. If it’s a carpenter bee, you can live without them and they do a lot of damage. I’m trying to identify it from online information, but not positive. My brother thinks that what this bee is.
Ohh, like the Carpenter Ants that ate our porch years ago?
Could be. Wish that meant they built something useful.
Hahaha! Sorry, but the image of bees in little carpenter aprons with tool belts, paint brushes, etc. popped into mind!
Like the little elves that made shoes at night, only making furniture and things. 🙂
Yeah! 😀
It is perfect!
It was a perfect moment, that’s for sure, and made me deeply happy to see.
LOL! Rollin in the pollen! I often wonder if they get drunk on the nectar. He sure was a busy bee!😀🐝
Oh, he was and so happy!!
