Philadelphia, city of brotherly love, is the location of our virtual doorscursion. Here in Arizona, I’m excited because we have visitors through the weekend, our older daughter and her husband. We are socially distancing and no hugging, but it’s fun to have company in our new house.
The houses/buildings with these doors aren’t new, but they and their surroundings have the details we all enjoy so much. So enjoy away and happy Thursday!

Those are a handsome trio of doors
Thanks, Sheree. Philly is full of gorgeous doors, both on homes and businesses. Being an older city really helps.
It’s on my bucket list
Lots to do there and so much history.
Love these doors, Janet!
Thanks, Sue.
Beautiful. Living in the country – I do not get to the city much to enjoy architectural doors that are as lovely as these.
I’m glad to be able to help you enjoy them, Peggy. One of our daughters live in Philly and every time I visit, I stock up on door photos. 🙂
janet
beautiful doors!
I’m glad you like them, Lola. 🙂
They’re all great choices plus the big urn in the first image is way cool!
Have a lovely visit and a long weekend!
Thanks all around, Deborah. It’s been a good day so far and promises to continue. 🙂
Three absolute beauties in this set. Bravo Janet!
I can’t stop going back and studying all of the wonderful details in the second one; that must be a good sign 😉
Yes, that one’s a winner for sure. Thanks, Norm. 🙂
Really lovely doors and architecture too, Janet. How wonderful that your daughter and her husband are visiting. Enjoy! I miss my kids so much.
Yes, it’s quite nice. My parents have been to the house and we’ve been to their house often, as I get groceries for them. But to have company is fun. They’re staying the rest of the nights at a hotel that they got a great deal on (suite and all) with airline miles, so they’ll be around, but also have a bit of time to themselves. Works just fine. 🙂 It’s harder for our younger daughter as she lives in Philadelphia and would have to fly. I can’t drive there in a long day anymore either. 😦
Sounds perfect. 😃
These are lovely entrances. That first one is so stunning. It just looks like it was perfectly designed.
And I love what surrounds it and the other doors. They’re not just beautiful doors in isolation.
Exactly!
Beautiful doors! We do not have much of a variety here where I live!
Not so much sphere we are either, which is why mine are usually from Philadelphia or France. 😉
At least you can use those now😊
True.
That last blue door is something else. I could live there, behind it, I think.
🙂 It’s yours, Ally. Happy Friday!
Glad you get to enjoy their company! If it were me, I’d wrap a big blanket around them and hug away!
😁. We had a great time, hugs not withstanding.
Really adoor the first door! lol!
Have fun with your daughter and son in law!
We will see N’s brother and wife in a couple of days. Distancing, no hugging and hand sanitizing.
Sigh… but it’s been since Christmas that we haven’t seen them.
We had an excellent time and on Saturday my parents, my s-i-l, and niece came over. We all distanced and no hugging, etc. and a wonderful time was had by all! It’s the togetherness that counts.
Agree!
