Come on Janet, we need to know more! Please!?!?

    • Here’s what I replied to Joanne. Up until fairly recently, my mom (and for a time, my dad) participated in the Senior Olympics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senior_Olympics), my mom setting records for her age group in javelin and discus all the time. One year I was visiting when they were going to a track meet and my dad urged me to compete in the sprints, something I’d done through college. I did and in the fun events such as softball throw, agility, etc. Between that and another time I competed, I came away with a number of gold medals, a few of which are featured here with my track shoes, shoes I might add that I got after these two events, planning to compete more, and have never used. πŸ™‚
