Not just flowers can grow everywhere. I’ve seen trees in the most unlikely places. In this shot, the rocks and wood seemed to me to elevate the photo from that of “just pretty flowers.”
Oh you did such a lovely job of highlighting the pure beauty of this lupine, Janet. I see from your tags it is in the Big Horn Mountains in WY. Your lupine is a little different than ours. I just looked it up, and there are 199 species of lupines! Thanks for enlightening me to this particular, and stunning, species.
Flowers can grow anywhere. Love the rocks and the broken tree limb laying on the ground – balances this shot quite nicely.

Love the purple color. I have seen those around our neighborhood but didn’t know what they were called.
In spring, they’re all over in the mountains. This time of year there aren’t usually many left so it’s always nice to see them.
They are beautiful!
I like them a lot, too, Aletta.
Really nice composition. I love the textures and splash of color, and the overall view is just beautiful.
Thanks very much, Madison. 🙂 Hope you’re all set for a great weekend.
That’s a pretty bunch/ bush!
Thanks, Deborah. I thought so, too. Happy Friday. Any weekend plans?

That’s a lot of lupine! I didn’t know there were so many kinds. I bet they’re all beautiful.
Very nice composition, Janet.
Thanks, Dan!
Is Lupine a wildflower? Beautiful!
It is, Resa, one that more prolific during the spring. Then you might see hundreds of them in the meadows. It’s quite a sight.
Nice!!!
