I’am if not a “water-maniac” or “water-nerd” so at least a “water freak” – guess that could happens if you are born on a tiny tiny island, all surrounded by water. π π π
It took us several hours to get there (on horseback, of course) and it made a nice break, sitting there listening to the water rushing along. There’s something wonderful about that sound…as long as it’s not in your basement. π
I agree, Dan, just so the rushing water isn’t in the basement. Of course in Arizona we don’t have basements…or much water…so not likely to be a problem here. π
A group of people bought this ranch, which had been a dude ranch. Most of the people have at least one horse; we (our family and my brother’s) have four. In the winter most of them run loose on someone’s ranch and in the summer they’re up the mountain–in the corral during the day and in the pasture at night.
After the long ride to get there, it was nice to just relax for a bit with the girls and some lunch before heading back. The sound of water is mesmerizing.
Gorgeous!
Thanks, Orna. It was especially enjoyable after a long horseback ride to get there. π

I love that!
We did, too, Aletta. It was a great place to relax after a long ride.
I can imagine that
Wonderful, so many fascinating details. π
Thanks, Drake. Glad you could come along on the ride to enjoy the water. π

That might have something to do with it. π
I truly loved this video. Oh, that lovely ruggedness in nature is so thrilling.

Love the sound of rushing water. No problem here, I do not have a basement. π
I love waterfalls and the sound of rushing water.

That’s pretty, and sounds wonderful! I bet the water is cold though! π
It is. π But that’s nice on a hot day as this one was.
Very cool.
It was, in both senses of the word. π And quite a welcome break after an over two hour ride to get there. π
Wow! Wonderful to hear the sound of water flow!
It is and it’s very loud right there and flowing rapidly! You wouldn’t want to slip into it.
Beautiful.
Thanks, Su. It really was.
I love the sound of waterfalls. Wonderful to get there on horseback!
Getting there on horseback is certainly, at least for me, a big part of the fun.

I love riding, yet rarely make the time. Did you bring your own horses, or hire them from a local ranch?

Now that’s wonderful. Well planned.
I’m so thankful my parents bought the last membership. It’s been a blessing for all these years and hopefully will be for our children as well.
Very fortunate! How old are your children?
33 and almost 31
Lucky them, they grew up riding.
Sweet, Janet!
