Good morning, Peggy. I don’t know whether I’d not seen them before because there were any, there weren’t many, or I just didn’t notice. I’m pretty sure I would have seen them but this year there were quite a few.
That’s true and it also depends what part of the year it is. Usually the most are in the spring, but if there’s enough water, they can last most of the summer. Various types also bloom at different times. Keeps life interesting and beautiful.
That lily is gorgeous. Have never seen it before. Nature surprises us with new things everyday. Thanks for sharing.

I imagine the wild flowers vary in number every year due to weather conditions and other things that happen.

Use to love the columbines in Colorado when we would venture up there from Arizona. Bought some and grew them in my Arizona yard. They did well.
It is a beautiful flower. Never seen this before! 😀
I hadn’t noticed them before this year but thankfully there were quite a few!
That is so awesome
What a beauty! Is the flower that big, Janet, or the insect that small?
It was a small insect on a beautiful flower. 🙂
Wow – I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s beautiful.
I’d not notice them before this year, but there were quite a lot of them adding to the general beauty. 🙂
Fab flower!
I loved that there were so many of them this year, Sue.
Excellent!
How beautiful! I have never seen this beauty before.

What a beauty! … The flower, too! 😉
Ha! The flower wasn’t particularly large, so you can imagine how small that insect really was.
