Just so, Dan. In Wyoming I can enjoy their cuteness because it isn’t involved in eating my plants or digging in my yard. Good luck to them trying to dig in the “soil” here in Arizona anyway. They’d need a pile driver!
Yes, that’ so true, Janet. We have a few squirrels that are very, very sneaky. They take the bird seeds away quicker than the birds can get to them. Nature is fascinating to watch. Hope you’re getting a smidgen of rain. I sent some your way. We’re still getting our afternoon thunderstorms but I’m happier because the temps lower afterwards.
Have a wonderful day … Be Safe
Isadora 😎
A smidgen is about all the rain we get at a time, Issy, and with our rock hard ground, about all it can handle without everything running off. When the girls were younger, we had a bird feeder and it was a constant battle to try to preserve the birdseed for the birds until we got a pole with a baffle. Squirrels are ingenious at getting what they want!
Thanks for your quick tale, Kanet. I missed this comment. I’ve got more time and less interest to be on my media. I suppose it’s because it’s the only way to communicate with family and friends. No one wanst to call just e mails and text messages. I apologize for this delay. Well, I know how the ground can be in your part of the world. We’ve traveled, and even, thought of relocating to the Southwest but I would miss the beach.
Hope you’re rain has increased. We’re still in the midst of storms. In October, the hurricane season will be over and we’ll have less rain. Hope you’re adjusting well to your new home. Have a wonderful week … Issy 😎
Ahh, telephoto!
Yup, still taking a making a gown break. I’ll start up again in 2 -3 weeks.
However, I’ve got the fabrics picked out for the next 2. That’s because someone sent me 14 lbs. of lovely, but musty fabrics from the 1980’s.
I’m glad you’re still on the gown break and hope it’s been refreshing for you. Exciting about the fabrics. Can’t wait to see what you make of them…literally. 🙂
Sweet! I love the effect of the flowers and leaves in the foreground.
They’re quite cute when they’re in the wild. 🙂
He likes his veggies!
Thankfully they’re not my veggies!!
Excellent point, Janet! 😀
There is that cute chipmunk.
I find them much cuter in the wild where they’re not causing havoc among my plants. 🙂
Ha Ha That is true about many little creatures. Go play in the woods guys!!!!!
Awwwww. These little guys are so cute. Annoying, but cute.

Ha!
Sweet to look at, evil to have living under your front stoop. Just saying…
Preachin’ to the choir, sister! In the wild, you can enjoy the cuteness. 🙂
cute but pesky 🙂
So very true. Here they’re just cute.
Cute fella!
Cute when not destroying something in your yard. Since our “yard” at the cabin is just wild it doesn’t matter. 🙂
Sweet
Especially since it’s somewhere not doing damage to any of my plants or yard. 🙂

🥰 it’s so cute! I love the eye highlight.
They are rather cute even when being a nuisance. That helps them. 🙂
Aw, so cute.
Very true. 🙂
janet
So sweet.
They look that way but they can be a big nuisance in the yard and garden. In the wild, they’re definitely cute. 😉
janet
Oh ya 😉
chipper indeed – and the colors are so nice in this strong photo – the warms in the critter and the greens int he back with the neutrals
🙂
We have a little striped ground squirrel in our yard who leaps so joyfully for the strawberry patch in June that I forgive its pilfering.
I’d have a hard time with that. I love strawberries as much or more than it does. 🙂
Yes, I hid some berries under wire mesh so we could get a few!
One day I saw a chipmunk up on one of my tomato vines eating my cherry tomatoes! I was NOT pleased. Didn’t know they ate them.
Very surprising! How did you protect the tomatoes?
I don’t know if I did anything other than just pick the tomatoes as quickly as I could.
Those never made it ti the table in our house because we ate them as we picked!
That works, too! 🙂
Adorable! Beautifully captured.
Thank goodness for telephoto lenses, eh? Are you still “taking a break?”
Ahh, telephoto!
