He and another friend were hurrying across the trail right before this shot, which made it easier to see him. Not sure I would have spotted him otherwise. 🙂
Oh wow, I really like this photo, Janet. This lizard has some fantastic markings with the black lines around the face and throat. And the yellow belly is super. It looks like some kind of whiptail lizard. Very cool.
I see a lizard 🦎
Well done, Carol. 🙂

Great find Janet!
Thankfully he’d moved so I could see him. 🙂
I can imagine that
If it wasn’t for that greenish belly it would really be hard to spot! Good eye, Janet!

He does blend in pretty well. Great photo!
Thanks, Dan. He paused long enough in his run across the trail for me to get a couple shots. These guys can really move quickly!!
I’ve only ever seen them, or ones like them, in Florida. They really do move fast.
Great spot! He’s well camouflaged.
Fortunately he’d been moving right before this, which caught me eye. 🙂

great find, Janet! 🙂
He made it easy. 🙂
It’s so cute! Glad you got a picture of him.
Me too, Madison.
Great eye! It’s almost like an optical illusion. I would have definitely miss the little guy in real life.
You’d have spotted him as I did–as he ran across that path. Luckily he stopped. 🙂
Well spotted, Janet!
If it hadn’t been running, I’d have missed it. 🙂 It’s well spotted. Hee, hee.

I don’t know what sort of lizard it is, Jet, but he’s rather attractive, isn’t he? Enjoy your weekend.
