My feathers would have been more than ruffled if I was asked to do that!
    Lovely picture, Janet.

  2. Oh wow – A+ for title and A+++ for photo. Nice one, Janet.

    • This is why I also carry my camera with telephoto when I walk at the Preserve. You never know when the right shot will come along. If I want to do a serious exercise walk, I walk along the canal where there isn’t much of anything to distract me. 🙂

  3. Dan Antion says:

That’s an outstanding photo! I love the reflection.

  4. Tom says:

Great photo, Janet, the title gives it just a comical edge! My mind ran away with me a little! 😄

  5. Great capture, Janet! I keep imagining the bird running on the log like a cartoon character. 😀

    Thanks for the Laugh.

  7. Beautiful reflections on this photo !

  8. ROFL!!! I love your caption! He’s a beauty.

    • He is, isn’t he? And thoughtful enough to give me a good pose. Win-win. Happy weekend, Deborah. I though of you today while scrolling through photos and finding a couple shots of a scarlet tanager I managed to capture one day at the Illinois park. The sad part was that I just missed an indigo bunting. I have a blurred shot of the beautiful blue but didn’t have time to correct the focus for a good shot.

  9. Wonderful shot! Thanks for sharing it.

  10. restlessjo says:

    Isn’t he gorgeous? 🙂 🙂 (or she)

  11. Wow this is outstanding! 🌞

    Stunning, just stunning!

    Wonderful shot , Janet.
