The hurricane was near my coast but traveling towards Alabama and New Orleans. We were part of the outer bands which created lots of rain, rain, rain. I wish I could send some your way. We are enjoying the humidty and the scent of nature while sitting under our covered patio. In everything, there is joy and something special. Have a great day … Be Safe

I only edited it just the slightest bit, Resa. It’s mostly as I saw it. From a different angle in a second shot, the tree looked greener. The reflection is real. At the Preserve, the lakes, which are reclaimed water, are fairly shallow and not always flooded, so there are quite a few things growing in the water.
looks like a japanese painting
I agree with you, Beth!
I realize your Tuesday’s almost over, Sue, but I hope it was a good one. Glad you enjoyed the photo.

Good! That was my evil plan. 🙂
I really like that.
Thanks, Dan. I do, too. It makes me feel peaceful. 🙂
So pretty! I agree with Beth, it does look like a painting.
Oh, that I could paint that well! 🙂
Perfect
Thanks very much, K.L.

That is so pretty!!
Thanks a lot, Aletta. 🙂
It’s lovely! It’s taking a bow to your photographic genius for spotting its beauty.
Awww, thanks very much, Deborah. I may have to make a print of this and frame it. It’s just so peaceful.
I agree with Beth, it looks like a Japanese painting. Lovely in its simplicity.
Thanks, Issy, and very happy Tuesday to you and Al. I hope this next hurricane isn’t headed your way. ❤

Glad you can enjoy the outdoors with some of the conveniences of being indoors. 🙂
I’m fortunate to have a wideopen space to view everything indoors and out. It was my joy when I saw the house. I’m blessed. 🙏😀😎
It sounds wonderful.
😊
This is lovely, Janet. And I’m agreeing with everyone – a Japanese painting is exactly what I thought at first viewing.
Very neat, Janet. It’s peaceful. Did you make it B&W with editing?
The reflection is real, right? Why is a tree growing out of water?

So interesting!

The reflection on the water is beautiful!
Thanks, Meg. I do love good reflections, on water or in my mind. 🙂

Simply beautiful

I think Google may have missed the beat on that one. According to my dictionary, mauruuru = (verb) to be somewhat eased. 🙂
But thank you 🙂
