These little guys are pretty cute, aren’t they? I really wish they were a bit more afraid. But there are so many rabbits, I guess they manage to survive to adulthood for the most part. π
All the rabbits I’ve seen here are jackrabbits and they have those big ears. The better to hear predators coming, my dear. π Although these little ones aren’t as afraid as they should be!!
The little ones like this one are especially cute. When they get bigger and there are hundreds of them (in the Preserve), they don’t have quite the cuteness factor anymore. π
Today is the first day the air is healthy to breath. Itβs been 30 days of bad air. The wind is said to change again so no real hope until it rains. How about Arizona where you are?
I’m gad you at least have one good day, Carol. A couple nights ago, the smoky smell was quite sharp but other than that, it’s not really been bad, thankfully. Praying that the whole west coast gets rain soon!!
I was busy thinking that looks more like a hare than a rabbit, then I read your comment about jack rabbits, which are hares. Confusion gone. Lovely photo btw
It’s like that in France where my s-i-l and b-i-l live. Not a good situation. It’s even drier than usual here, although being new, how could we tell? π
Please don’t stand in his way! If something so cute and so cuddly wants to come towards me it is most welcome!

Their fertility certainly compensates for their fearlessness! π

Oh, he is so cute even with those big ears.

Bunny ears! I love bunny ears.
And jackrabbits have the biggest bunny ears (or would they, when older, have rabbit ears????) π
Sweet!
When they’re little, they surely are. π
SO cute!

Charming, hope Farmer McGregor is nowhere around. π°
I think he was working somewhere else that morning. π
Good to know π
Are you doing all right out there with all the smoke? Has it gotten any better?

Iβll take those prayers for rain. Unbelievable how far the smoke can go.
Cutie!
It surely is. π

π Thanks. Lots of these at the Preserve. Any predators must have a field day!
I do have a soft spot for rabbits so this handsome dude allowed me to have a good smile. π
I’m always happy to make you smile, Judy. How’s the weather? Any rain?
Zero rain. Drought continues, and wells are going dry. Not good up here when the topic is moisture. Thanks for asking.

WOW! Whatta shot!
This little guy wasn’t too scared and I had a telephoto lens too. π
Aww, a BUNNY!!!! Sweet and just adorable!
They are pretty cute, Resa. π And there are LOTS of them.
