Thanks, Dan. When I walk, I often have a rose-colored top and the hummingbirds love that, so I often have one come right up in front of me. Of course it’s impossible to get a photo that way, but it’s fun. They love anything in the red family it seems.
That they are, Meg! It’s hard to imagine anything can move as fast as their wings beat and they’re constantly darting around. The times I’ve seen them sitting on a branch are the unusual times…but easier to get a photo.
👏🏻 Great, great shot, Janet.
🙂 Much appreciated, Judy.
Such a great capture of this humming bird.
Thanks a lot, Peggy. Happy Wednesday.
I love the light and the composition. Excellent photo, Janet.

That’s interesting.
A perfect photo of the sweet hummingbird! Mine are still visiting the feeder despite the chillier temps.
There are lots of hummingbirds here but of course it’s still hot, too, so the chill to drive them elsewhere. 🙂

Beautiful capture!
Thanks, Aletta.
Oh, that’s lovely. The hummingbird was a surprise as I scrolled down.
A good surprise is always welcome, right? 🙂 Thanks and I’m glad you liked the shot.

Yes, that’s exactly how it was!
What a sweet picture – hummingbirds are so energetic!

Fantastic! I’m afraid ours have left for the winter. 🌞
It will be interesting to see how long these stay here as “winter” is much different in Arizona 🙂
oh, wow!
There are lots of these little guys around here, especially at the Preserve.
Absolutely beautiful image, Janet!
Thanks! ❤
This is a wonderful shot Janet
Thank you, Su. How are you feeling now?
Thanks Janet. Recovered from surgery but not feeling it’s made a difference.
😦
Hoe delightful!
Thanks, Cheryl. 🙂

Hummmmm… sweet shot, Janet!
Thanks!
That’s a fantastic image of the hummer, Janet! I love the motion blur on the wings, and that highlight in its eye.
They’re little cuties and when you read how fast they can move their wings, it’s really unbelievable. 🙂
