for One Word Sunday

This is very nice, Janet. The moon is difficult to capture well. You did a great job.

    Ahhhhhh ….

  3. lolaWi says:

    a peaceful night! 🙂

  4. scr4pl80 says:

    Wonderful shot, Janet.

  5. Debbie Smyth says:

A great, moody shot, Janet. I often give up in the attempt, or delete my moon shots. Definitely not easy

  6. Nice capture! I battle with night photography!

  7. Resa says:

Nature is scary in the dark. Nice capture, Janet!

  8. Nice view from the porch!

It’d be awesome to be camping, next to a campfire looking at that.

    • It was even awesome just on the cabin porch. 🙂 With no ambient light, you can see everything in the sky. 🙂

      • thesojourningwolf says:

        Cabins make everything awesome too!

      • Agreed, especially if they’re in the mountains. I like the name of your blog.

      • thesojourningwolf says:

I love cabins. I love the mountains! I have neither lol!!

Thank you! It’s kind of a deep thought… I feel like a loner on a journey. And I like wolves lol.

      • I like wolves, too. We enjoy cabin and mountains in the summer but recently moved to Arizona, the Phoenix area, where we’re suburbanites. The summer helps keep me sane and connected. 🙂 I was going to check your blog, but evidently it’s not public, which is fine. 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend.

I started this blog about a few weeks ago. I had almost quit blogging because of stupid people and I was allowing the blog to take up too much of my time. So I’m experimenting with this one. Private blogs allow me to accept who does or don’t follow me to an extent. And even the blog world is a scary place. So I hope you’re not offended by the privacy.

      • Not at all. Just wanted to let you know I tried. 🙂 I’ve been blogging for 8 years (?) and thankfully haven’t run across many stupid people. I’ve even met some of my blogging friends which is a lot of fun. Good luck with the blog and feel free to drop in any time.

      • thesojourningwolf says:

I’ll definitely be back if you want me around!

      • Be happy to have you.

  11. The Eclectic Contrarian says:

Few things more inspiring than the night sky and the moon. It’s a good thing I’ve always been a night owl lol!

    • And I a morning person. But I managed to get this before it was completely dark. In summer in Wyoming we often stay up late to look at the stars. With no ambient light, you can see them all and that’s a sight worth staying up for!

      • The Eclectic Contrarian says:

I applaud your morning motivation. I myself am anything but a morning person. But I’d gladly appreciate your company after dark lol!

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
