Yes, we are all flying by the seat of our pants in this troubled world. Would be great to be able to fly like the birds of this world. Beautiful photos.
I’ll be back at the Preserve tomorrow morning, Yvette, ready to capture more shots. π As the year unfolds, it’s interesting to see what birds will stay and which will be gone until next year or next season.
I haven’t as of yet, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea. I know some of the birders (or maybe all) record all their sightings. For me it’s more a matter of knowing what bird I saw. π
How fun!
I started keeping a log of books I have read and shows watched – like documentaries or movies or a series
Partly to keep track of time and a short log sure helps
But also to remember and to note if a quote or scene really stood out –
Wonderful shots, Janet π π
Thanks very much, Jo, and enjoy Tuesday.
Wow, Janet!
π Thanks.
Now, that’s the way to start my day with these great shots.
Happy to help, Judy. I hope it’s a good one.
LoL … and wonderful catches. What kind of bird is the first one?
I believe it’s a young green heron, but I’m not a pro at identifying them yet.

I’m glad you enjoyed them, Peggy. I’d settle for flying by plane right now. π
π A plane would be the best way to fly. Ha
they look like they don’t have a worry in the world
Probably just where their next meal is. π

Wow – gorgeous selections of these In flight birds
The wing span and free feeling is different in each – I can imagine you capturing these

How fun – and your photos can help you keep record in case you forget – or do you write any of it down?

I keep a list of all (or almost all) of the books I read, although I got rid of many of those from earlier years when we moved.

Incredible captures! I’m just stunned by the clarity in the details. I could stare at these magnificent creatures all day.
If you ever get to the Phoenix area, Iβll take you there and you can enjoy them live. π΅
Oh what gorgeous photos and captures π
Thanks, Cee. It’s harder to get them in flight but when it works, it’s worth it. π
Nice in-flight images, Janet!
Thanks, Deborah. It’s much harder to get in-flight shots that turn out well than those when the birds are sitting. π
That’s so true!
Wonderful! The first one is very special, IMHO!
Glad you enjoyed them, Resa. π
