Amazing post! ๐
Glad you enjoyed the photos, Flora. Thanks for the visit and comment.

Your welcome! ๐
Sheโs a beauty!!
That she is, Deborah, but she didn’t stay there long nor did the squirrel. ๐
Sometimes it’s enough just to see them for a second to know you’re walking with your spirit animals. ๐ฅฐ
Lovely capture, Janet!
Thanks, Sue. That park always seemed to show me something magical, whether on the macro or micro scale. I do miss it.
Thank goodness for memories….
Especially these days, but really all the time. Photos certainly help.
They do!
Travelers are always the most interesting individuals
(You have to wonder where both of them were rushing off to?)
Love the picture
Just rushing away from me, although the deer at least took a moment to look (and I wasn’t moving.) The squirrel was probably just heading off to hide or search of a nut other than me. ๐
Interesting that the deer stopped for you while the squirrel did a photobomb.
The deer was trying to figure out whether or not I was a threat as I wasn’t moving. The squirrel probably didn’t care, just going about its business. ๐ I’d seen the deer on the opposite side of the trail and had stopped, camera at the ready.
Good catch!
I was always on the lookout for deer or coyotes or whatever else might be about when I was. ๐
Love this; the little photo-bombing squirrel is a nice touch.
And I didn’t even have to pay him! ๐
