Su from Zimmerbitch invited me to post ten days of travel photos, no explanation needed. Today we’re along California’s coast. I’m also supposed to nominate someone else to participate and pingback to my blog/post. Today I’d like to nominate Deborah at Circadianreflections. You’re welcome to wait until after Christmas if you like.

We have a couple of friends, with wonderful humor **btw all our friends have, probably necessary to be able to endure us.? πŸ˜€ ** They are neither thick nor thin, but say they do not bother lying on the beach. They say every time they sunbathe on the beach, Greenpeace comes rushing and pushes them into the water – because they think they are stranded whales, sea elephants or walruses

I like the big yawn the seal is giving. Without a care for what the rest of the world is doing.
    Lucky him!!

  3. Cheers to one of California’s beach residents.

It’s a great photo Janet. They definitely look so much more at home in the water.

  7. Elephant seals! They’re so cool! I have a pretty good idea of where you were to see this one.
Thank you for the nomination. I’ll see if I can pull together 10 travel shots and share next year. Might be a great way to get me out of my editing doldrums. πŸ˜€
