Okay, that’s weird. I see the image in my mailbox, but not here when I click on the post!
I love bougainvillea, but He-Man not so much…he detested trimming ours because of the thorns. The leaves are so delicate looking and the blooms so, so tiny! He ripped it all out after several years.
So many ways to interpret this… The way that the leaves are fixed to the fence, of course, but also the way I’m transfixed by the image itself. Such detail and clarity in the delicate veins, they look so fragile, almost transparent. Perhaps it’s strange but I can almost empathize with them, and it hurts to see!
So fragile! 🙂 🙂 Happy Wednesday, Janet!
Thanks, Jo. Enjoy yours too.
I’m thinking: What’s behind that gate? Who’s behind that gate?
Has a delicate heart been broken by harsh reality?
You did ask for my thoughts. lol
Ah, nothing so deep. These are bougainvillea leaves impaled on a rake on our garage. Although perhaps their hearts are broken. 😉

I do understand about raking leaves. My heart breaks for my husband who is in charge of doing it.
We don’t have leaves here the way we did in the Midwest, though. There raking was a lot of work, but I always enjoyed it and it was good exercise.

That is weird. I have no answer for that. 😳. Just glad you see it somewhere.
There are lots of bougainvillea here but I didn’t realize they had thorns until I went to prune ours. 🤭. Lots of things here with thorns, though!

😦 They’re fixed on the rake, but let’s think that they sacrificed for a beautiful image and are thus immortalized. 🙂
Beautiful shade of bougainvillea. And a superb shot too Janet.
Thank you kindly, Madhu. 🙂
I love the composition of this Janet.
Thanks, Su. It just caught my eye as I was getting into the van and I had to get my camera out and take the shot.
Maybe not, but I am…… transfixed!
Always on the lookout for a shot, even on a rake in the garage. 🙂
Certainly fixed!
Stuck on the rake. 🙂
Very interesting photo! After ready the comments I understood what was going on in this photo!
I hope that without knowing what it is, it also stands on its own as just an interesting and hopefully artistic shot. 🙂
Absolutely! Love it!
Beautiful!
Thanks, Dan. You never know what you’ll find in the garage that’s photogenic. LOL.
🙂
