for One Word Sunday: roll or role and Life in Colour: brown
Remarkable, this would look beautiful on a wall π
Thanks! I like to imagine it suddenly unrolling at once, which Iβm sure it doesnβt. LOL. janet
Fabulous π
Thanks, Brian.

Amazing photo
I thought these were really cool-looking. Iβm happy you like the shot.
π
This would work as a skware… roll up π π
I thought about it, but I like the length of the shot. It has a different feel.
I thought you probably had π π
I have a bunch of squares coming up, though.
Don’t we all! I tried to get Becky to consider circles, but she wouldn’t play π π
Rectangles…and that would include squares but it doesnβt work the other way βround. π
That is a nice roll! What will it unfurl into?
Some sort of fern. I wish Iβd been there to see it then.
Beautiful, and it reminds me of spring. π
Itβs coming, Judy! π₯°
Lovely image, good response tone prompt!
Thanks very much, Sue.
Good question – but my first impression was a cinnamon roll. Hmmmm …. wonder where my mind is at? π
Green/brown cinnamon rolls probably arenβt a good idea. Iβve been thinking about cinnamon rolls recently too. π
LOL … very true … but it was the shape. Cheers to good thoughts of cinnamon rolls.
Sounds might good right now before breakfast.
Perfect photo for the prompt!
Thanks, Dan. π
Very pretty shot!
Thanks!
I love this photo, Janet and agree with the commenter above that it would look nice on the wall. I bet it would look great as one of those metal prints I’ve seen.
Thanks, Madison. I never thought about a metal print. Maybe Costco or Mixbook will have a special.
lovely image! π
Thanks, Wilma, and happy Sunday.
Nicely rolled and nicely brown. I love ferns and the new fronds just beg to be photographed.
That they do. Can’t you just imagine them all suddenly unfurling all at once? π What a sight that would be!!
We need a time lapse camera!
π
Pretty
Thanks, Yvette. There were a number of these hiding in the shadows.
Oh such detail and texture
In Maori we call it a koruβ the unfurling of a silver fern frond. One of my favourite sights.
I like that.
Nature is so beautiful in both colour and form as you have caught here Janet
Iβm glad you think so, Pauline. π₯°
Perfect!!
π Thanks.
Great shot! Is that a fiddlehead?
I really don’t know and they didn’t have any signs. I bow to the expertise of any fern experts out there.
Me too!
