    Wonderfully captured – come to think of “Needles and pins”. πŸ˜€

    • Drake, I don’t get the reference to “needles and pins” but I’m glad you liked the shot. I saw a perfect one yesterday with the rabbit standing straight up with its forepaws crossed…but my Nikon battery had run out. 😦 My own fault for not charging it after not using it for some time.

    Aww, he’s cute πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  3. Tish Farrell says:

    V. well caught, Janet. This rabbit is definitely auditioning for a picture book.

    • πŸ™‚ There are so many rabbits at the Preserve that I can almost always see one standing up like this to eat. Hadn’t really seen that much before coming here, but it’s pretty cute.

  4. Dan Antion says:

    That’s one wag to get to the top shelf goodies.

  5. billgncs says:

    must be Arizona, there’s thorns on the plant !

  6. BeckyB says:

    An amazing capture but is it square?

  7. susurrus says:

    His coat looks like it’s been caught on a thorn or two.

  8. I hoped he filled up. Cute … nice capture, Janet.
    Be Safe 😷 … Izzy 😎

    • There are no skinny rabbits at the Preserve so we can be sure none of them are going hungry. πŸ™‚

      • ha ha we had a bunny we were feeding.
        We learned quickly not to do that. The bobcats and wildlife ate many of them. Sad but nature.

      • I know there are coyotes at the Preserve, but they don’t seem to be doing a very good job with the rabbits. πŸ™‚ I’m surprised there aren’t lots of hawks!

      • It makes you wonder if nature is being affected by this virus; a bit odd and scary.

      • I don’t think that has anything to do with it. I know there are some hawks, but I haven’t seen them. There are quite a few people there, so I imagine coyotes are there either very early in the morning or during the night when the Preserve is closed. I did see a coyote trot across a main street I was driving on the other day, across three lanes of traffic each way!

      • WOW … we were told by the community watch that there are coyotes wandering. They said to be cautious with small dogs. They should be safely guarded. We have a baby bald eagle in a tree on the other side of the lake. Also, I hear a screech owl at night. I love the sounds but I safely stay inside my little lanai cage and watch from afar.
        ~~~ : – )
  9. I hope it was able to get all it wanted and hopped off a happy bunny. πŸ˜€
  10. Sue says:
    Oh, well captured, Janet!
  11. If all the world was a buffet… Lucky little critter! πŸ™‚
  12. Ally Bean says:
    Nothing cuter than the south end of a north bound bunny rabbit.
  13. crenmckin says:
    Talk about stretch goals! Great capture!
  14. […] It also offers everyone great support and fins up because sometimes, no matter how optimistic we are, we all need a supportive cushion and snack […]
  15. Lisa Coleman says:
    Something sure caught his nose pointing up in the air, didn’t it? πŸ™‚
What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
