Patti’s set us a challenge today, that of sharing photos the convey emotion. I don’t take lots of photos of people, but humans aren’t the only ones who express emotions. What emotions do you see?
Can’t resist a reprise of my W.C. Fields cactus. 🙂

Great gallery! Love the one with the youngster and dog.
Yes, that was so much fun to see. The little boy was so tentative and the dog stayed quiet and didn’t startle him.
Sweet
I don’t know the emotion is, but I’m steering away from the one with the big nose.
That longhorn’s expression is just the best, however you interpret it. 😉
The steer is good yes of course
But I failed to express myself well
For that I now feel great remorse
It’s the cactus to you I now tell
Got it. When I published it before, I had a shot of W. C. Fields in the same post. Amazing how much they looked alike. 😘
We all evolved from something. I think a prune could claim me.
I like your variety – fits with emotional variety – and hmmmmmm
Now you have me thinking outside the box for my post
Good! Boxes are useful but confining. 😉🥰
Great selection, Janet!
Thanks, Sue. 🥰
😊
Your website is beautiful, congratulations

Welcome dear Janet 🌹
That cactus is priceless!
I thought so, too. It’s near my parents’ house and made me laugh every time I passed it. It’s the spitting image of W.C.F. as a cactus.

You’ve shared five fine pictures there (especially the last one…they’re both so cute) but W.C. Fields definitely gets the blue ribbon. You can skewer it on his thorns.
Wonderful, Janet. A great collection for the challenge. I love that steer and the cactus is very funny. Perfect for the challenge.
Thanks, Patti. That cactus always amuses me. I don’t have lots of people shots so I had to go with non-humans. 😉
Lots of good emotions in this post, Janet. I love the cactus. 🤣
Me too. 😁
I did it, what are you looking at, I’m having a bad day, what did you say, and oh, please can he come home with me. 🙂
Well done, Judy. Although the deer is most likely saying, “That’s close enough!” And I was a long ways away!
These are all good, but the boy and the dog made me smile.
That’s a good one.
I love these pictures. The cactus is fabulous.
Thanks, Roberta. It’s hard to beat that cactus. 🙂

A sweet collection, Janet – but the cactus took the price!
That one’s definitely a favorite of mine and apparently of everyone else as well. 🙂
Oh my gosh Janet – I’m SO glad for your reprise of the cactus, it’s PERFECT!!! All of your images this week fit the challenge beautifully but it’s going to be hard to top that one!
Yeah, that cactus is quite something. Doesn’t look quite as nice now, I noticed as I drove by the last time, but I’ll have this shot forever. 🙂
I love the cactus shot! It almost looks like a clown.
It’s so much fun, isn’t it?

Great shots! Boy and dog, cactus. Superb.
Thanks so much, John. 😊

Love the WC FIeld cactus! Thanks for the wide range of emotions.
You’re very welcome, Frank.
1 Joy
2 Disdain
3 Humour – that cactus looks a lot like W.C. Fields
4 Nervousness
5 Love
Yes, the W.C. Fields cactus, my favorite cacti of all time. 🙂
I liked your longhorn photo. He looks so content!
The whole group was happily grazing away.
The boy with his smiling dog is so precious!
That was someone else’s dog, which is why he is a bit tentative. They met walking along the riverwalk.
😄🐕
The cactus was stupendous, most expressive indeed! 😀
That’s a pretty cute one, isn’t it?

A smile is always beautiful, even on a cow with horns that wide!
This expression was more funny than beautiful but I agree and I love the horns.
