There’s a face for you! π π Happy weekend, Janet!
I know! Camels always look so snotty!!
Oh, he looks so supercilious. Thatβs. A great shot, Janet. Have a great Saturday.
Supercilious is exactly the word for that look. You enjoy your Saturday as well.
He looks a little rumpled π
It’s hard keeping your nose in the air all the time. Wear on you. π
What a great portrait. He does look as though he’s looking down his nose at you, a very snooty expression!
It takes practice to get that snooty expression just right.
I think he’s had a lot of practice. π
Seems rather typical of camels that I’ve seen. π
Ha! Made me laugh.
Me, too. Happy Saturday, Ally.
Such a great profile … and cheers to sharing your wit in the title. But I wonder if he wants is neck scratched?
Pretty sure he wasn’t interested in that, but who knows? π
Agree.
It looks so serious! π Haughty even.
Camels mostly seem to look haughty but that’s part of their thing, I guess. π
π
Brilliant!
I’m sure he thought he was. π
He knows he’s superior to us doesn’t he – ooh look a hidden up!
From everything I’ve read or seen, camels have a fairly high opinion of themselves and low opinions of humans. I don’t know what they think about other animals.
Wise camels!
They certainly think so.
What a look!!:-D
Definitely a superior look!
I agree!
janet – such a cool upshot if this fun animal
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
well not an animal we see every day and so the many browns and textures (and cuteness) made this a really enjoyable photo
I love this pic, and have always had a soft spot for camels. How were you able to get this close-up shot?
It was on a rescue farm so even with my phone I could get a good shot and then crop it a bit. Thanks for the visit and comment. I’m glad I could share a camel with you. π

[…] Fortunately no-one has upped sticks or got too hung up, after all every square every one shares is superior! […]
