such a nice photo overall
the respect is right (saw the comments below) and also like the various greens – the lights and the angle
and in one hand it reminds me of bamboo – only in a quick look – and then we feel
your arizona collection of photos building – ha
Yep, upright!
Just keep a bit of a distance. 🙂
Those prickly bits!
They’re nicely symmetrical but require respect.
😊😊
And very thorny!
Yes, don’t fall in while looking. 🙂
Absolutely not😂
Great photo. It has a dangerous feel to it.
Only if you get up close and personal with it. 🙂
I thought it was some material to make a skirt with a nice turquoise silk blouse.
I guess I’m glad you’re not my seamstress!

No problem, I don’t sew.
Pretty!
It does have a certain beauty, doesn’t it?
To me, this is a great example of something the eyes of a photographer catching something the rest of us don’t see. Well done, Janet.
Thanks, Frank. 🙂
And prickly! 🙂 🙂
Yup! Don’t get too cozy with this one.
Those leaves remind me of a sawfish’s bill!
Beautifully composed shot, Janet.
They do look like that, don’t they?
Hope you didn’t get prickled!
Nope. I stayed a respectful distance away. 🙂 As my husband put it when we moved here, “I’ve never been around so many things that want to prick me.”
Lol!
Looks like that succulent is opposed to sharing 🙂 Great shot for the stripey theme.
Only sharing with others like it. No diversity at all!! 🙂
What a great shot to illustrate the word. That’s definitely upright!
😁
great take, Janet! 🙂
Thanks, Wilma. 🙂

Yes, I have quite a few Arizona shots already but then we’ve been here almost a year. 🙂
