There are a number of paths like this at the Preserve and although I now know where they all go, there’s something still inviting and even intriguing about them. 🙂
Judy, I know you’ll get this: there’s snow on all the high peaks here today. In fact as of yesterday, there were a number of places where roads, highways, and even interstates were closed due to snow. I drove to where I could get a couple of shots, even though they’re not great photos, just to look at them. It was wonderful!!
A cool, refreshing walk on a hot summer’s day…looks like parts of our Oak Leaf Trail…at least where they don’t cut it back too far! You photo inspires me to write a summer haiku, when it arrives. Do you grant permission to fellow bloggers to use your photos with attribution?
On an Arizona summer day the shade is very welcome. 🙂 Yes, you’re welcome to use a photo with attribution and a link to my blog. I’d be happy to share.
It makes me happy to walk there, Deborah. Guess what? There’s snow on the mountains today!! In fact there are highways in the mountains that are closed because of all the snow. Looks a lot like Colorado or Wyoming. You probably saw the smile on my face from your place this morning. 🙂
😍 You’d love it here today then. We had a storm last night that brought lots of snow here and on the mountains. It’s aleady in the 30’s so it’s melting down here in the valley, but oh how pretty it is.
We’re still on to FT this week right? Thursday okay?
As you might imagine, when it’s summer, the sun’s up at 5:30 am, and it’s already 80F or so in the morning, the shade is very welcome. But it’s lovely even now.
I could have used “ahead” by itself, but I need that “up” for the challenge. “Up ahead” is a bit like people saying “Where are you at?” “At” is unnecessary.
Would love to go for a walk there
It’s a great place to walk.
Fantastic
Ooo, what’s around the corner!?
Definitely looks like one of those paths that you just have to keep following to see what will be revealed next.

Oh, the possibilities for enjoying nature. 🙂

Yes, I get it, and I’m envisioning you just having a couple of really enjoyable smiles while looking at it. 🙂
I could still glimpse some today when I was out driving. 🙂
Path are so inviting, wonderous, and mysterious.
Especially ones that are somewhat enclosed like this one.
Paths is on my Idea List for a beach walk.
I’ve got path photos. 😉
… but I do not have a path walk … .yet. 🙂
Let me know if you’re interested.
Absolutely … and feel free to look at the Topic List for ideas. 🙂

Thank you!
I may have to try some haiku again. I was doing some in the past on the blog but haven’t for ages. 🙂
I encourage you. Haiku and the seasons fit together perfectly. In fact haiku demands it 🙂
A very inviting path!
That is a cool photo. Evocative and inviting.
It feels a bit like heading into Narnia to me, although I didn’t have to go through a wardrobe to get there and happily there was no Ice Queen! 🙂
Oh, that’s lovely!

Ooo, yes, almost forgot. I’ll email you again. Thursday afternoon (mid or a bit later) would be fine.
😀
Oh this is lovely – I’m going to join you for a walk here too

Shade on summer days, perfection
Wonderfully enclosed 🙂 🙂
As I mentioned in other comments, when it’s so hot in summer, it’s such a blessing but even now it’s enjoyable.
Up ahead. How often we use that expression. It has no exact meaning, but everybody knows what it means.

I plead guilty of the “At”. lol
That looks like a wonderful place for a walk or a bike ride.
You can even ride horseback there but watch your head!
Ha! The only time in all my years of riding a bike, that a helmet protected me from injury was when I rode into a low hanging branch.
No Absalom for you!!
We have a covered road I take to the beach. It’s like being in a massive green house.
Lovely capture, Janet. Be Safe …😷 Izzy 😎
Thanks, Izzy. You, too.
Idyllic! You must spend a lot of time there? I think I would.
I do like to walk there even though they’re a bit of a drive from our house.
Keep walking!
