In Illinois we had a butterfly bush right outside the big window in our living room, so it was easy and enjoyable to see what landed there.

Colorful and warm … this makes me think of spring, and how I’m eager for it to begin where I live 🙂
Here in Arizona, it’s already spring. 🙂 This shot was from Illinois where that bush was right outside our window. It didn’t bloom until later in the summer and I always looked forward to it. But it does have a spring feel to it.

Marvelous. This brings back such happy memories of my childhood. My parents had the most amazing butterfly bushes right by the house, and I could just watch them swarm around for hours.
It is fascinating, that’s for sure. I loved having that bush there.
Some breaks are prettier than others…this one is a very pretty one!
It was always fun to see what would land on that bush: butterflies, bees, and hummingbird moths, plus smaller bugs of various sorts.
It’s a beauty!

That’s a butterfly bush, although there’s a more proper name for it. Looks quite a lot like a lilac, though, doesn’t it?
I think the wings would make a beautiful kimono pattern.

Gorgeous capture! I adore the shape of swallowtails. A bit like Easter on the purple flower.
I love butterflies and swallowtails are definitely some of the more beautiful ones.

The butterflies loved that bush and I could get lots of shots from inside the house. 🙂
