for One Word Sunday: empty
Won’t be empty long. That’s what lures the fly into the web. It looks so nice and empty. Nothing bad there.
True, although sometimes there’s a big, fat spider in the middle, just waiting. 🙂
Intriguing to think about it as empty. The Unfinished Symphony was my initial thought.
Empty and waiting for breakfast/lunch/dinner. 🙂
Absolutely beautiful web! Great imagination choosing this image as empty, I like it!
Thanks very much. That’s always good to read. 🙂

Love this photo, Janet. Full of emptiness!
Thanks, Tom. The spider’s undoubtedly hoping it won’t be empty for long. 🙂
Of that, we can be sure!
What a photo, Janet! I bet the owner is hiding somewhere out of sight until some unsuspecting insect comes to visit the “empty” web.
I’m pretty sure you’re right. 🙂
Waiting!
Very true.
That’s gonna require some repairs. A great find though. I love seeing webs in the light. They sparkle like jewels.
I don’t know if it’s unfinished or ruined or possibly that’s just where it was attached at the bottom. Spider webs and drops/sunlight are made for one another.
I agree! 😀
Spiders are natures grand architects.
That they are.
What a great shot. How spiders do that is amazing.
It truly is.
An empty larder, Janet. Good one. 🙂
Probably not empty for long though. 🙂
I always admire spiders and their webs. It reminds me of a person with really good hand sewing skills. 🙂
🙂 Like the women who do lace, something I’d never be able to do…nor want to!
What an incredible creation a spider’s web is. Probably wasn’t empty for long. Nice shot, Janet!
Thanks. I’m sure you’re right about the web not being empty long!
