No, but it would make a nice nest? πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  2. peggy says:

Quite unusual, but actually very pretty. I do love the view of the cactus behind this object.

  3. Debbie Smyth says:

Could be perfect coiffure for something like Royal Ascot. On an appropriate scale, of course!

  4. Very interesting arrangement.

  5. LOL … and good image … but I’m with Jo wondering about a bird’s temptation.

  6. That is something different πŸ™‚

  7. How lovely! Forget hula hoops, I’d much rather have this in my home.

  8. Love you comment, Janet! Is it art for the sake of art, or does it serve a more practical purpose? 🌞

First time here I will be back!

  10. Or mine! It’s fancy that’s for sure.

  11. susurrus says:

    That’s pretty wild!

  12. billgncs says:

even better in person, and much bigger – though I’m still blown away by the glass sculptures near the entrance as my favorite there

πŸ™‚ Whatever it is, it looks really cool,, dear Janet!
    I just bought a hoola-hoop and I’m still learning πŸ˜€
Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe!

Catchy title Janet. and lovely find!

  15. de Wets Wild says:

I imagine a whole host of art critics assembled around it, discussing at length the “…isms” the piece invokes and what the artist is trying to convey, when along comes a groundsman and cleans up the debris of a severe dust storm that passed through the garden the day before and got caught in the kids jungle gym…

    • πŸ™‚ I’m chuckling at that, Dries. I enjoyed the piece and it’s a contrast to the desert landscape all around it and just pure fun. As for art critics, when I see what’s considered “art” by some/many, I just have to shake my head and ignore it.

  16. Resa says:

Now that’s an interesting garden thing!
So, I got a hula hoop last spring. I thought it would be good for keeping my waistline down during the lockdowns. Darn thing doesn’t fit anymore! (rim shot)

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
