This is what spring green looks like in Arizona, specifically at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix. Probably not what spring looks like where you live.

Pretty, though! π π
That it is. π΅
Lovely garden!
Itβs a beautiful place. Iβm looking forward to seeing it more often.
π
No indeed but itβs lovely too
It is. The desert has its own beauty.
Lovely, Janet!
Thanks, A-C. π΅
Woah, what an odd picture for the time of Spring! The contrast eh? π€π£π
Seasons are different in the desert yet beautiful in their own way.

Yes, each place has its own beauty, and this is a gorgeous palette of greens.
Itβs so refreshing to see all the green here too even if itβs not in the form of grass.
I think it is absolutely gorgeous!
I agree.
We’re still looking at mostly brown, so this looks like spring to me π
It is, just no green grass or luxurious growth well water is scarce, growth is more concentrated in a few things than spread out over a lot of things.
It looks like a magic land – a combination of whimsy and fantasy.
Been warm here with a bit of rain. Surprisingly small green leaves are showing up in the least likely places. Yep, it’s Spring
Spring is good. Itβs the hot summer Iβm not looking forward to. π₯΅
Very different to my experiences of Spring, but very beautiful too.
Very different from all my previous springs barring last year when we moved. But yes, it is beautiful here.
I hope I’m lucky enough to see it in person one day… I miss travel. Until then, I’m glad I can enjoy it through your lens.
When you can travel again, if you get to Phoenix, let me know. I’d love to say hello in person. In the meantime, I’m happy to be a virtual guide.
Exotic in its own way, green and gorgeous! I adore this spot. Thanks for the lovely shot, Janet!
You’d love the gardens, Resa. If you ever get down this way, we’ll take you.
You’re on!
Every aspect of spring is magical. Nature has strange ways to show its beauty too. This picture portrays just that. Different imagination of nature.
God certainly created a variety of beauty, that’s for sure. I’m glad you enjoyed this view of it. π

Those are gorgeous shades of green and all those textures, and shapes are wonderful.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed them, Deborah. Just got back from a nice day trip to Payson and the area around it. Mountains! Even saw a bit of snow in some shady spots. π
Sounds like a great day! π
It was a wonderful day, I also found one of the lavender farms I was interested in seeing and found out what type of lavender should grow best in our yard, naturally NOT one of the two types I tried to grow unsuccessfully last spring.
I’ll see if I can find some because I’d love to grow my own. Also picked up some lavender products. All that and got into the mountains as well. Hurrah!
Is Spanish Lavender one of the types you can grow there?
I hope you’re able to find some and grow it successfully.
It was a good day! I was resting mode as I got home Friday evening from Baby Girl’s house where I was for 5 days watching the Littlest while she was working, then after school we had #1 as well. Littlest is so busy, and his naps are not as long any more either. π
Yes! Spanish is the one he told me to look for. I’d tried English and French to no avail.
Sounds like you had a good time but probably quite nice to be home as well. π The joy of being a grandparent, eh?
Wonderful Wonderful greenery!
Thanks, George. I’m glad you enjoyed it. In Arizona we take our green wherever we can get. π Thanks for the visit and comment.
