After a long ride, we tied the horses’ halter ropes to convenient tree branches before hiking down to a rushing creek that ended in a waterfall not far from us. This slowly flowing side steam provided a place to climb on rocks and stick our feet in the icy water before having lunch and mounting up for the ride back to the cabin.

  1. What a beautiful spot!

  2. It’s a lovely spot for lunch and soaking your feet.

  3. Beautiful shot and it sounds like a wonderful way to spend a day in your favorite place.

  4. Heyjude says:

That looks like a lovely shady spot, nice to dip tired toes into.

    • It is. Just have to get the boots off first and then make sure your feet are really dry before putting them back on! 🙂 The sound of the water is wonderful (and quite loud as it’s nearing the falls and rushing quite quickly in the main stream.)

  5. It would be so hard to leave that place. Beautiful, Janet.
