Our recent trip to Arizona’s Boyce Thompson Arboretum made a quick side trip to Superior, Arizona, a town founded on copper mining, easy. On our way out, I spotted these doors and asked my brother to stop so I could get a photo. So I present to you a door fence, not to be confused with defense, (although maybe in this case the door fence provides some defense), something possibly not seen on Thursday Doors before, at least one made of this many doors.
Meanwhile, the fun in Illinois continues. I’ve seen more actual rain and spent time with so many friends. It’s been such a delight and I still have five days after today and another chance to sing in church before heading home. Bliss!
On the not so blissful side was opening my comments Tuesday to find over 1100 spam messages, all from about four sources. There’s no “Delete all Spam” button, so I deleted 20 at a time, several hundred total, at various times throughout the day until they were all gone. I also blocked those senders. If you sent me a comment and I never responded, that’s why. There was no way I was going to look through each batch to see if there was a legitimate comment although I did find one and OK it. Not sure where it is to respond so I apologize.
This is a great find. It is good you stopped to take a photo.
Hard to pass up, although we literally did pass it up and then turned around to get the shot.
Spammers! Bain of my life 😦 But I love your doors 🙂 🙂
Earlier in the year, I’d get some every day but nothing like this attack. Glad you enjoyed the doors, though.
I like the door fence. After the Pens’ defeat in round one (I think I remember your being a hockey fan) I’m trying not to think about defense. Tristin Jarry was an open door last night 😞
Sorry about the spammers. Your the second person I know who received outrageous numbers of spam comments. I don’t understand the point.
I’m glad you’re enjoying your trip, Janet.
Yes, I’m a hockey fan, although the Hawks didn’t even make the playoffs (nor did the Coyotes.) Jarry was an open door? 🙂 Hee, hee, good hockey/door lovers joke.
We would have done better if they had 18-minute periods. They scored so often with under 2 minutes left 😦
Ha! We used to worry about the minute following a Hawks score because too often the other team would come back and score.
I LOVE it!!! Years ago, my husband was partitioning an area in our barn for a wood shop, and we went to our local Habitat for Humanity and bought some doors. We then used the doors for walls. 🙂
Good reuse of the doors, Judy. I also appreciated that the doors were painted nicely.
That is so unusual!
I certainly haven’t seen one like it elsewhere.
Amazing
That’s a good word for it, Sheree. 🙂
😎
Re-purposed, and colorful too
I thought it actually looked pretty good and all the doors are painted nicely.
That’s door lovers fence and a cool find!
I thought so. 🙂
What a great find! I’m glad you stopped for a photo 🙂
It’s ab pain about all those spammers though. I get them of course, but never yet in that sort of number! Hope you don’t get attacked like that again.
Thanks. I’m glad we stopped too.
That attack happened in a very short period of time. Now I go on each day at least once to check and I also block each spammer. Hopefully that will help.
I like the door fence. It’s amazingly practical. As for all the spam, I’m sorry that happened. I’ve been inundated with it, too– but nothing like you. 😳
Glad you liked the door fences too. As for the spam, it was an experience. 😬
This is so very cool 😀 😀
Thanks, Cee. I’d never seen anything like it.
Now, that’s a cool fence🙂. What a great idea!!!
Pat
I thought so too, Pat. 🥰
Ahh, brilliant. When I see something like this, I think that someone knew I was coming. 😀 Not that I have ever seen such a great door-fence. At a concert once there was the decor of several doors together like this.
I think this fence is unique because of the number of doors and the fact that they’re in such good shape.
A fence of doors … brilliant …. good catch, Janet!
Thanks, Frank. My motto should be “Will stop for doors.” 😉
I love the Boyce, but this fence tops all.
Thanks so much, Luanne. You can see both quite easily. 😉 Boyce is wonderful. Can’t wait to go again.

Hahahahahahahaha! Best “Doors” capture ever!!!!!
Resa, you’re such a door-k. 🙂
Superb doors. Damn those spammers.
Glad you liked the doors. So far there hasn’t been another big attack like the one I described, so I hope it stays that way.
Whoever chose the colors for those doors has an artistic eye.
True. And was also pretty good at making the things. 😉

Hmmm, I replied to the wrong post. I thought it was a great idea to use all the doors as a fence and keeping them painted made it attractive rather than like something cobbled together from scraps.
