I wouldn’t want snow right now, but I do miss it in the winter. I can enjoy the beauty this way without actually having the snow, right? Green is also in short supply here but enjoy yours!!
I’m thinking I should choose a good winter scene and have a large print made of it, then put it on the wall to enjoy when it’s summer here. 🙂 Maybe it would help me feel cooler.
That’s partly why my parents moved to the Phoenix area after several years in Sedona. They didn’t want winter, one of the reasons they retired to Arizona. 🙂
That does look magical! I’m enjoying the green right now but will love the snow when it returns later this year. Well, I am missing it on the mountain peaks already. It’s melted so fast there’s only a wee little bit left up there. Spring will be arriving up there very soon and I’ll be hiking up there to find it.
There’s a vlogger I follow that has a home down in the “valley” she calls it in Pheonix, and another one up in the mountains of AZ where they spend the summer to get out of the heat. That’s a nice set up me thinks. 😀
An instate-snowbird. 🙂 That would be quite nice. I wonder about this area with the water shortages that are predicted and the never-ending building going on.
I bet you can’t wait to get into the mountains. I’d feel the same. Right now we just have to survive the excessive heat predicted for the next week. Sigh. Thank goodness for AC!!!
Beautiful
It is. None of that around here in Arizona, at least where we live (and of course not this time of year.) But I do miss it in winter.
janet
It is wonderful to see that. We have rain today, and lots of green. I’ll take that over white for now.

I’ll be sure to share pictures if we get snow this winter. I do enjoy seeing it, but green works, too.

Well, the way weather is changing I’m not going to be surprised if some day you see it again. 🙂
I’d be surprised. This next week I’d love to have 10 or 20 negative degrees, though to add to our upcoming heat.
I love snow on bare branches, but also happy to have the return of the warm sun
I agree, which is what I like about seasons.
Ah, yes, I suspect you won’t see much of that in your new homeland!
Ha! We certainly hope not, at least without driving quite a distance to Flagstaff or somewhere similar.
Oh, yes, you certainly get snow there. And in Sedona!

We’re getting alerts that our temperatures are going to soar to the 100’s this week too. I’m thankful for A/C too!
I miss the beauty of snow, but not having to get around in it. 🙂 Beautiful, serene shot, Janet. Love the branches laden with snow.
I don’t miss it, but I do think it is very beautiful!! ❄❄❄❄❄
🙂 I do miss it but I still enjoy being here.
As pretty as it is, I doubt if I would miss it. lovely shot!
I know people think I’m weird for that, but I do miss it, at least part of the year. Right now I’d be glad to miss 115F+!!
LOL!
