While visiting my parents once before we moved to Arizona, the moon was in just the right spot behind this cactus for me to play a bit with both.

How beautiful is that! Love the detail on the cactus!
Nice of the moon to get in just the right spot. 🙂
Absolutely

Thanks, Beth. It worked out just right. 🙂
Janet, you have an eye for capturing unusually great shots. This is one of them. 👏🏻

Lovely image, Janet.
Thanks, Dan. Glad you liked it.
Unique photo. Very nice, indeed.
What? You’ve never seen the moon stuck on a cactus before? Where have you been? 🙂
Clever capture.
Thanks, Jude. Glad you like it.
I love the colours, Janet. There’s such a nice, peaceful feel with this.
Thanks, Tom. It was a peaceful moment.
It’s like a balloon settling on that thorny cactus! I’m cringing at the thought of a loud pop milliseconds from happening!
You’ve treated us to another very special piece of photography, Janet.
Perfect because of the full moon last night. Great shot.
Yes, the moon last night was amazingly large!
It’s almost like a desert Christmas tree with a star on top! 🙂
What a good comparison, Hannah!
Great shot!
Thanks!
