for Six Word Saturday and Squares: trees

Comments
  1. That is some seriously dry skin. πŸ˜„

  2. Prior... says:

hahah – it does look like lotion – or some good coconut oil would have helped –
and on a more realistic note – I love when tree bark peels like that –

    • It does look attractive and interesting when it peels which is great, as long as that’s a characteristic of the tree and not a disease. πŸ™‚

      • Prior... says:

Exactly – because if it is a disease or ailment then there is trouble
And side note / ever since I ate a lot more days and oils (the good kinds) I hardly need lotion – and I used to use a lot of Eucerin and Clinique yellow moisturizer – and I am amazed at how we oil or hydrate the skin from the inside out. I never watched the Kardashians it sometimes showed me a snippet where one of the boyfriends was drinking from the vitamin e oil bottle and said it was for his skin. Lol – and for me – the first time I noticed a huge difference in skin health was taking Sonnes cod liver oil – one tablespoon a day did so much but at that time I was also starved of good oils
Anyhow – fun six words for that tree Janet 🀍

      • I didn’t know for years who the Kardashians were and why they were “famous” (no positive reasons I ever saw). I still don’t know anything about them except for marriage and then divorce to/from Kanye West (who I know little about either.) I plan to keep it that way.

      • Prior... says:

Yes – I don’t know much either – and do think they have waned in the spotlight (such is Hollywood eh?)
        Have a nice day

  3. eklastic says:

How ap-pealing … or not? Great photo.

  4. Dan Antion says:

Hahaha – great six word photo.

  5. Sue says:

    I love those trees….

  6. Hammad Rais says:

Yeah, that would have saved it πŸ™‚

    • If we live in the desert, lotion is a must. See the results of not using enough? Take that as a warning. πŸ™‚

      • πŸ˜‚ I’m going through body lotion at a faster clip living here as well as moisturizer for the inside of my nose. It’s always dry here.

      • Of course a big part of keeping skin in good condition here (or anywhere) is covering up most of the time you’re in the sun. Don’t want to end up with that elephant hide look as we get older!!

      • My sunblock shirts get a good wearing every time I walk or hike on sunny days, and I wear a visor or hat to avoid the sun. πŸ˜€ I even wear sunblock gloves.

      • I bought sunblock shirts from REI after we moved and wear them if I’m out for any length of time, although at 5:30 am when I walk, I don’t worry about it and “they” do recommend you get some unblocked sun. I have several sun hats (I love hats anyway) but no gloves. They’d be a good idea.

      • I really like the gloves while driving. My hands get the most sun exposure there I think.

Ah, there’s nothing like just sitting in the sun for a few minutes sans sunscreen and let my bones soak up the warmth, and good stuff. It does feel so good. πŸ˜€

      • I keep thinking about having something to put over my left arm while driving. Didn’t really think about hands.

  7. Toonsarah says:

What interesting bark that is – what sort of tree is it, do you know?

  8. Teresa says:

    True, it needs some moisturising!

  9. Resa says:

….perhaps a week in a sauna, followed by lotion?
    Fun post!

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
