I wouldn’t be able to balance on that crossing!

  2. Tom says:

It may be a handy crossing, Janet, bit I think I’m with Sue. I’d have a hands on approach to get across, with me being on all fours!

    • This was a difficult one word, Tom. I thought about going with a photo of hands of some sort but decided to settle for something useful/handy. I like to try to have the connection between the word and the photo that doesn’t need explanation.

I didn’t cross here either, BTW and just a little further upstream there was a wide, shallow area where you could cross more easily but you’d have to take your shoes off to keep dry. πŸ™‚

  3. Quite clever too! πŸ˜€

  4. Debbie Smyth says:

A good choice, Janet. A very handy crossing – though I think I’d have chosen the wet feet option πŸ™‚

    • Or there’s the choice of just staying on this side and taking the photo or maybe sitting on the bank, if there’s enough room, and putting your feet in the very cold water. πŸ™‚

  5. BeckyB says:

ooh I wouldn’t be able to cross this! Well I suppose I could shuffle along on my bottom πŸ˜‰

  6. Dan Antion says:

When I was younger, I’d bounce across that without thinking.

  7. A very handy crossing, Janet. I think I’d manage as long as I had the right foot ware and hubby was close behind. πŸ˜…

  8. Very handy, but I would be scared to cross over it!

  9. Resa says:

    True! Fun take, Janet.

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
