It makes life much more interesting when power boxes become works of art. In this case, I’m also happy that some of them are blue.

Those are fab
Thanks, Sheree. I’d love to see more of these boxes decorated.
Itβs a great idea
Nice!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed them.

Excellent job of hitting both challenges, Janet.
Thanks, Dan. I thought perhaps I’d used all my blue doors in previous weeks/months/years but thankfully I still had these.
I like the one with the sailboat a lot. Great idea for both the doors and blue.
I was happy to find I still had some blue doors that I hadn’t already used in the years I’ve been doing this challenge, although I could probably start reusing some and no one would remember. π
Your title describes the doors perfectly! π
Thanks, Patricia. π
I love seeing these! It’s so whimsical, cheerful, and brilliant to dress up these utilitarian eyesores and turn them into art.
I’d love to see all of them decorated. π
Oh, well found!
Thanks, Sue. I’ve had them in the archives for a time and when I went searching for blue + doors, there they were. π
Ah, very useful!
Nice when the electrical boxes are painted. We have a few around here too. Who says functional has to be ugly?
I agree. I’d love to see all of them painted as works of art.
I totally agree! Power boxes should be pretty!
We should start a movement. “Power to the power boxes?” “Power boxes are art, too?” π
As a person who loves a plain red door, I find these fussy blue doors a bit much. But your photos of them are wonderful, of course.
What a great idea! (K)
Wouldn’t it be nice if all boxes were painted?
Yes. There’s a movement here to start decorating scaffolding and the boarded walls of construction sites. I think it’s a good one.
Oh, what a great idea! These are so fun! π
I really like to see them. So much more interesting than plain grey.
Nice art work!
Always nice to find these decorated boxes.

Amazing!
It’s nice to see the decoration rather than just the grey box, that’s for sure. Thanks for stopping by, Gwen. I hope all’s well with you and yours.

Love the street art! I agree, it’s wonderful that more and more cities are using art to get rid of the steel and cement feel. Nice finds!
It’s nice for the artists to have a canvas of sorts, too.
Agree!
