well captured – not sure I’d have spotted him if you hadn’t have said. I was lucky enough to see one in the wild in a huge park in Pittsburgh, was such an exciting moment for a Brit!
Hmmm. Apparently the Janet didn’t make it on there which is odd as I remember putting it there. Ahh, well, it’s unlikely anyone will steal that shot. ๐
He’s easy to miss! ๐ … Enjoy your weekend.
And if I’d gotten much closer, it would have been gone! ๐
i had to really look! )
It wasn’t at all certain whether to stay or hide. ๐
Sneaky little guy! He’s well camouflaged. ๐
Theyโll sit out in the open until you get to close and then they can vanish in an instant.

We see lots of them in Wyoming. I prefer seeing them among the rocks and not near the cabin. ๐
Ooh yes, think I’d prefer that too!
What a cute little guy. ๐
They are cute…at a distance. They can cause problems if they take up residence under your cabin.
What a precious little creature, Janet! ๐
They’re cute as long as they’re not under your cabin or trying to gnaw their way in. :-
It took a while to find the little guy.(and I didn’t find the Janet) ๐ฆ

At least Iโm not losing my touch ๐
๐๐
I almost missed itโฆ.
It would be glad to know that. ๐

That little marmot blends in well. I had to strain to see him. Happy Sunday, Janet. ๐
Well, isn’t that marmite a cutie! Very camouflaged. Had to find him/her.
I think I’ll name him/her Waldo!
๐ Waldo probably has a number of marmot kinfolk there too.
So cute!
Unless they’re under your cabin gnawing on the logs!
Oh! They eat cabins, do they!
They chew on wood, so yeah. ๐
