The first photo is just perfect, Janet.
Thanks so much, Tish. I love the look of light through leaves.
Blue flower is beautiful, but the green canopy is so gorgeous it could be fabric.
I hadn’t thought of that but it would make a lovely pattern for fabric.
Good morning, Janet. Thanks for the beautiful blue, but the overall effect of the first pic captures my attention!
Hey, it’s a Frank sighting, hopefully of a somewhat rested and relaxed Frank. π I’m glad you enjoyed the photos. I love the look of sunlight through leaves.
I love that colour so much who sale it for me
I do like that quote. And your photos to go with it are beautiful. Quietly uplifting.
I’m not sure which quote, Ally, but I’m glad you liked it and the photos. There something about light through leaves that I find so attractive.
“Keep a green tree in your heart and perhaps the singing bird will come.” ~ Lois Lowry
Above the photo I see those words. A quote? I like the sentiment.
There was a second quote between the two photos, which is why I asked. I thought you probably meant the first. I like it too.
Oops, missed that second one! Too focused on your photos.
Not a problem at all, Ally. π I’m happy the photos were such a distraction.
Inspiring. π
Merci, Drake. Or “tusen takk” if practicing my Norwegian. π
Both are “kjempefint” – another norwegian word. π
Google Translate says “terrific.” π Thanks.
Google Translate is right, this time. π
I love the backlit leaves!
One of my favorite tree views, Dan. π
I love the way you filled the frame with those leaves. The patterns, light, and shadows are neat. I love blue flowers!
Thanks, Deborah. I love the contrast between the light and the overlapping leaves and the branches. I also love blue flowers but now that I think of it, that’s not a color I’ve seen in the desert much if at all.
That tree canopy is something else. It’s almost like a visual illusion; at first it looks like nothing is in focus, and then everything, and then… ?
π It’s almost dizzying to see in person and in a large amount.
Lovely photos, both of them π
Thanks very much, M.B. I’m glad you enjoyed both of them.
both images are pretty! π
Thanks very much, Wilma. I’m hoping all’s well with you.
Love the Matisse quite as well as your Blue capture.
The shadows and light and the patterns made by the leaves is stunning!
Thanks very much, Ju-Lyn. I wish it were his. It would be worth a lot more. π

wow that first square, the #TreeSquare what a shot – and loving the blue one too. Beautiful post
Thanks very much, Becky. I keep forgetting to use the hashtag in my tags as I’m not much of a hashtag person.
don’t worry, your links have been working perfectly so I have been finding you. I do though find them helpful when preparing galleries, but again no matter if they are not there
What wonderful movement in the branches!
Thanks very much, Susan. π
Love the canopy, beautiful blue flowers.
Thanks so much: for the visit, the comment, and enjoying the photos. Happy Friday!

been doing a lot of blog surfing recently, but my own blogging has been frustrating.
Sorry to read that. What’s going on? Is it a WP thing (which seems to be ongoing.)
Not really, but whenever I think I’ve got it…I don’t. Usually I can work around problems, but occasionally it seems insurmountable. Yesterday the problem was after hassling with putting a poem in a post, the background turned out red…so did I… LOL really, a silly thing can reduce a person to tears at times.
It really can be frustrating. When I was posting poetry that I wanted formatted in a certain way, I remember how frustrating it was and that was with the classic editor. Haven’t tried it in block.
exactly! I got so used to doing manual formatting just as I wanted it, especially poetry. I am able to more or less work with Photos…after a lot of tears and cussing…but the “Verse” thing literally brought me to hysteria. (a bit of hyperbole there, but not much.) I appreciate the response I have gotten to my whining and fussing from my blogger friends…thanks!
Trust me, there’s plenty whining, fussing, complaining, etc. going on about WP’s various changes and issues! You are not alone! π
and teeth gnashing… π
Very biblical, the weeping and gnashing of teeth. π
I have special vocabulary for use while trying to do something new on the computer…definitely not -bible influence. LOL
Ha! I can imagine.
π
Sublime! Both, the canopy and the blue flower ….
π Thanks!
