I think if I were Jack, I’d prefer climbing this sturdy tree rather than a flimsy beanstalk. Just saying.

I remember nothing about this photo, although I see it’s sidewalk sale time, but there’s some blue which is what’s needed. 🙂

That tree would certainly provide a wealth of opportunities for a young tree climber.
It’s in the park so probably no one ever climbs it but what a waste. It’s a gigantic tree, which you can’t tell as much because I had to put it in a square for the challenge but even in a normal shot it’s difficult to get the entire thing in unless at some distance. Swiss Family Robinson might like this one! 🙂
I agree Janet! Definitely better to climb this tree!
Certainly more stable! 🙂
😊
I agree with you !
🙂
Yes, a tree is better ladder than a beanstalk. Poor Jack.
Yes, poor Jack. It’s almost as if he was living in a fairy tale.
I definitely agree with you on the tree, ha! Hope you are having a good week and ready for a good weekend, Janet 😀
We’re getting rain, Madison, which is the most important thing!! Also getting ready to go to Wyoming soon so as you ca well imagine, I’m happy. 🙂 How are things there? I’ll try to shoot you an email one of these days.
That looks like a great tree to climb to spy or daydream. I love your framing of the blue car!!
Glad you enjoyed the framing, Deborah. That tree was my favorite tree at McDowell. It’s the grandfather/mother tree to me and the shot doesn’t begin to show how large and imposing it really is.
🥰
oh yes definitely climbing a tree rather than a bean stalk – and no giants at the top of trees either!
I can’t say for sure there aren’t any giants because the top is quite high but I never saw a trace of one. 🙂
A very nice blue car, indeed. I can’t lie, the main reason I consider my current car an upgrade over the last is that this one is blue. Otherwise, it’s exactly the same model.
🙂 As good a reason as any.
Better not stand below that tree too long, Janet – there’s bound to be a giant coming down at some point looking for his goose…
🙂
Oooooohhhh, I love that tree! 🌞
It was my favorite at the park.
Wow – some cool tree and the jack connectij was creative / I can imagine him climbing
Also – the second photo is one of those extra unique and so one of a kind that it was fun zooming in – street shot with the blue on the signs too
I think Jack would be much safer climbing a tree than a beanstalk, that’s for sure. 🙂
Yes – but did the magic beanstalk grow in a way that had sturdy little steps? I shouted think it did – lol
Hmmm, I’ve never seen a beanstalk that did but then I’ve never seen one that went up into the sky and that someone could climb, so…
Hahaha
🌱
And your tree seems like something right out of a fairy tale
I’m sure the real Jack would also prefer the same. Climbing beanstalks is outdated now 😁
I didn’t realize it was outdated, but I’m sure that’s true. 🙂
