These have given me a lovely fuzzy feeling. 🙂

  2. Wonderful fuzziness! Happy Friday, Janet!

    • And also to you, Deborah. 🙂 Any Labor Day weekend plans? My husband’s on call through Monday, so we’ll be just taking it easy at home.

      • No plans. We were at Baby Girl’s for three days this week, and we spent 4 days with Big Baby Boy and his fiancé last week so we’re just going to hang around at home, do some yard work, and maybe I’ll dig out my watercolors and paint a little. We’ll be taking it easy at home along with you guys. 😀

love all these photos, if I had to pick one it would be the fluffy-top…. reminds me of a little hat some ladies might have worn back in the 1950s, when women wore hats. 🙂

I should qualify the statement about women wearing hats in the 1950s … many of the women I knew personally wore hats to church … I had two hats, a brown one and a black one, which matched my 3-inch heel pumps. I guess it was sort of a uniform… 🙂

(comment:) my “when ladies wore hats” statement backed me into a corner of hyperbole…and the more I work on a qualification the more it got. LOL My apologies to hat-wearing women and grammar purists… lol

    • Ha! I’m a hat-wearing woman and a grammar purist and you’re forgiven. 😉 I love hats and have quite a few but as I’m not really going anywhere these days, they’re just sitting on boxes. I do use a sun hat here though.

Thanks, I appreciate the reprieve. I really can’t stand to wear anything on my head, even in winter. When living and or traveling in the desert areas I sometimes wore a sun hat, but not often. I lived in Arizona for years, and it is still my “home of my heart.”

I am reminded of a small collection of “real hats” laden with silk flowers and veils and what-all…. from the 50s. I intend to list them on ebay, having did the photos but not the actual listing.

I better put on some music!
